The 1 Mile Time Trial is an event to benefit DCPS students through the Foundation for Daviess County Public Schools while giving the runners in our community the opportunity to have a true accounting of their mile time. The 1 Mile Time Trial will take place at Apollo High School’s new athletic field.
Masks must be worn by all people working, volunteering, or visiting the parking area. Runners will be released onto the track one at a time to run on the inside lane. Electronic timing will be used. Runners will be permitted access to the track in groups of 5, every 15 minutes. Volunteers will stage and release runners one at a time so they are spaced at least half a lap apart at their start.
Runners must wear a mask until just before their segment of the run begins. Families and friends are encouraged to walk the outter lane of the track or watch the event from the stands. The size of the stadium and a controlled number of participants will allow for appropriate distance between households.
*Registration for the 1 Mile Time Trial will cut off at
11:59pm on September 19th and you will be notified by September 22nd of your starting time*

Location: Apollo High School track - 2280 Tamarack Road (Access the track off of Gemini Drive)
Packet Pickup Date/Time: Packet Pickup will begin at 5:30 am on Saturday September 26th
Race Start Time: The first runner will begin at 6:00am (start times may vary depending on your starting number which you will recieve by September 22nd)
Registration: $30.00 Online
Race day registration will be available for those who wish to walk the track at $40.00
Additional information: There will be food trucks on site serving breakfast and lunch
